Murals

Brinkman was a commercial artist prior to WWII. He created his first mural on the walls of the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in 1943. Murals continued to make up a large part of his work after the war. Some of the venues were very large and required elaborate scaffolds in order for Brinkman to do the work. Brinkman worked on the other murals on canvas, in his Miami studio, after which they were installed.
